Congrat, infact London Visa office is very fast, infact the fastest Visa office , u got AOR may 3, 2016 and july u got PPR, 3 months

Congratulations today I Also got AOR. Kindly tell me what is VO that you mentioned ?

CIC will send your application to the visa office, which handles visa works of your native country. that office is called VO. The visa office is supposed to send you another mail acknowledging that they have received your PR application from CIC and will process it accordingly. We call this second mail as AOR from VO.

I'm an BCPNP inland applicant. My application was received by CIC on April 21, 2016 but I haven't received my AOR yet. Its been almost 70 days...

Congrat, infact London Visa office is very fast, infact the fastest Visa office , u got AOR may 3, 2016 and july u got PPR, 3 months

But people criticize more, they said LVO is very strict and naughty.

choyibear, thanks for the information. I am waiting for the AOR to apply BOWP as well. Hope it won't take long

Actually, I already applied for BOWP online in June. I had to cuz my WP was expiring.
I made a mistake by applying online instead of paper, as online application takes only 27 days to process and my AOR is not gonna arrive in time.
However, the online application processing time has been increasing since I applied - the most recent update shows that it takes 34 days.
It makes me really nervous cuz now I have a bit hope that my AOR might arrive in time, but who knows... I might receive the WP refusal anytime and have to stop working. ???

But I linked my application to cic, and it shows as follows;
Application/profile status : Open
Review of eligibility Not: Started

What does this mean?

I called CIC, and the agent told me it simply means there is an application, but it's not processed yet. So, it does not equal to an AOR.
I asked if it means my application package is complete, she said no. I asked if my file could still be returned to me, she said yes.
I really doubt what she said tho. To link the application, we need to fill out basic information as well as IELTS test ID.
If my application was incomplete, why did they bother to input all my information in the system?

Anyway, at least it means my package has been opened...

My friend working at an immigration agent told me that XEP number basically means the application has been accepted at the first stage review. It is just a matter of time for it to be converted to AOR. He has never had a case that an application is returned given the XEP number is granted. Even though I am not sure the reliability of the word, it is a good sign at least. Thanks.
