Hello Guys,

CIC received my package on August 10th & i have to get AOR yet.

However, today i just fill out some information from myCIC & was able to link my PR application. Now i see the application Number & Application Status as Open ...

Is that the AOR number which CIC will send after 1month?

No its not your AOR. They will send you confirmation by email. CIC received my package on August 16. So Keep updated. We both are same timeline.

Hello all,

reading through forum I am getting conflicted views regarding PC's from pnp inland applicant, please clarify if you have an experience with this matter:

1. Is it required to do RCMP finger printed PC, as many pointed out these is a paragraph in Application Guide for Permanent Residence – PNP which I quote " You and your family members who are 18 years of age and older and are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens must provide a valid police certificate for each country other than Canada, in which you have spent six or more months since the age of 18"
2. Regarding the PCC from other countries I lived in, suppose I live there for couple of years, then left that country and came to live in Canada. Only visited that country for couple of days where I get a PC from there. Now that was about an year ago and the validity for the certificate is only 3 months but according to CIC , if I have not lived there since then for + 6 months , it should still be valid ?

I received my AOR - Aug. 9

just want to ask if how long would it take for them to ask for my police clearance.?? because i did not pass it together with the paper app.

any updates in may applicants????

Why so late? CIC Sent back my 24 June application due to expired IELTS, Which I received on 20 Sept. I have done IELTS And send again new application on 25 Oct. Wonder why they prpcessed mine so quick?

On 5th of October I got a mail from CIC stating my UCI/Applicant number and acknowledgement of the receipt of my documents and now today i.e. 26th of October I received the same mail from Delhi immigration adding a line in it which tells that the process now would take maximum of 6months.

So, I am wondering that what was happening since these 20 days and as I got a mail from Delhi immigration office does that means that the file have moved ahead in process.

This is the second AOR. CIC has transferred your file to Delhi VO for further processing. Delhi Vo have acknowledged application receive n and notified you accordingly. I have no idea about the 6 months time frame they have given. You will get more information about NDVO in the threads where they discuss about NDVO timeline.

Are you an inland applicant? I submitted my application on May 18 as well, got AOR on Aug 18, just waiting for Canadian PCC request and/or Medical.

Apr 6th applicant, received AOR on May 17th.
Today received RPRF reuqest in mycic and background check changed to not needed.
