You are not alone!!!

As per CIC , they need to have decision until 22months only!! For January they are in 22months..that’s why their getting PPR now..

**April 13,2016 applicants still waiting for Dm PPR.. by feb2018 i guess i will get PPR.**

Almost 30 AprilI applicants got their PPR in two weeks since then CIC stopped for april applicants.
I am one of those April applicants who were left behind.

They’re starting to give PPR to may and june now!!!

My theory:
I guess the same thing for may and june, there will be some batches who will get PPR and the rest is on their 22months!!

I think they are just passing time....One lawyer said quota is completed because of refugees. I think they are making decision on some of files from every month. So that people can stay clam in hope.

Even Ministry is giving me the same crap

Thank you for your correspondence of September 21 and October 25, 2017, addressed to the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, concerning your application for permanent residence under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). I have been asked to respond to your concerns.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) realizes that those who have submitted their applications look forward to a decision being rendered within a reasonable waiting period after applying. The Department makes every effort to deal with the applications it receives in the most efficient and effective way.

Maintaining the integrity of our immigration program is a priority of the Government of Canada. Individuals who want to live permanently in Canada must meet certain requirements which include medical, criminality and security clearances. IRCC conducts background checks by working together with partner agencies, such as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, the Canada Border Services Agency, medical authorities, and agencies of foreign governments. Background screening processes are non-discriminatory and universal in their application. Any delays or requirements that the Department’s partner agencies may need in providing input are something over which IRCC has no control. In addition, background and medical examination results are usually valid for a 12-month period. Should background or medical clearances expire during the application process, applicants are required to update their results.

Departmental records confirm that your application was received on April 7, 2016, and is currently being processed at IRCC’s Centralized Intake Office and is nearing completion. While I am unable to provide a precise timeframe for the completion of these applications, please be assured that you will be contacted should any additional information or documentation be required, or once a decision has been made.

With regard to processing times, I would like to clarify that those listed on IRCC’s Website indicate the average processing time for an application, meaning that officers are completing 80 percent of applications within the listed timeframe from the date of receipt of the completed application. These processing times are published to give applicants a general idea of how long a process takes. Please note, however, that this can vary depending on the number of applications the Department has received, as well as the circumstances and complexity of each individual case.

Thank you for taking the time to write. I trust that this information is helpful to you.

Sincerely,
P. MacLeod
Ministerial Enquiries Division
