For may 2016 applicants CIO haven't touched file after receiving medical as GCMS notes, pulled on August 16th says location PS. This is pathetic work from CIC/CIO.

Other than applying for gcms notes, sending case specific enquiry, and calling the customer care, is there any way to find out the real reasons for delay? Aren't we entitled to know why our files are being delayed and not processed within the normal processing times? We need answers!

There is no accountability of any sort and the officers paycheck should be tied to their performance. Thats how they will work diligently.

hi we have exactly the same timeline and no MR yet..so how do you do the upfront?..and do you have a spouse in your application or your just alone?..coz wondering if we can also do the same..coz it's been 15mos and no MR yet..thanks!..

my security check is not started yet. how long they usually take to complete security check.
they said i should hear something by the end of nov or dec. and the processing time is still 16 months.

i contacted them through inquiry web form. the information was provided by IRCC

My MP's assistant said I have passed security, criminality, eligibility, and medicals. Now just waiting for final review and there is no time frame as to when final review will be completed.

Any idea how long it takes now? I'm April 25th single applicant with no travel history except to my home country. BG changed into process on Aug 23rd.

Please someone advise.

I did my upfront medical at Heritage Village Medicentre (111 St & 23 ave NW, Edmonton).
Just book an appointment with them and let them know you want to go for upfront medical.

I donot have a spouse on file. Just go to any immigration certified medicentre in Edmonton and let them know that you want to go for upfront medical exam. They will do it for you.
