It's September 1st. A new month. Every April applicant here has passed the 16 months normal processing time. Even May 1st applicants have passed it today. Will we get PR at least next week? It's a short week though Monday being a holiday. And today no good news.[/QUO

yes I think we are in the same batch. Hopefully some good news these coming weeks.

I was recently married but my husband is Canadian citizen, don't know if that's gonna slow down the background check. The whole thing is very frustrating, I know of people who didn't dare to make any changes in their life our of fear that it's going to affect their application, those who got stuck with sh*tty jobs, who can't move out of the province for new opportunities, or those that don't even dare to get married ....
