I would disagree as well.
We lost our work visa back in April, due to omitting a cert. Not working since but with a valid status in Canada.
It is CIC that refused us instead of requesting the document they needed, that's why had to stop working!
What if you reach 4-year-mark and you can't extend your visa anymore? With such a LONG processing time it is possible in some cases. So I think once your nomination is valid you are still OK.

does anyone know if i can enter Canada by showing my Work Permit even though i have a PR status?

I already received a PR stamp in my passport - but not the actual PR card, without which i cannot enter Canada.

I did everything I could to push the case from August to November, like sent lots emails,ask help from MP, complain long time processing letter etc.....

I am a testimony, i lost my job at some point and my PNP office told me it's not a problem as long as my PR is already in for processing.

Hi an August applicant just asking to see did anyone have a similar situation thanks in advance. So got an email friday requesting further docs regarding my no insurance and no tax conviction 12 years ago in ireland. Anyone have to do something similar?
1. Court record / Police report: Please provide documentation that clearly shows the following in relation to your Ireland police certificate and related history:

a. proof that any and all court-imposed fines have been paid,
b. proof of completion of the sentence,
c. and proof of expungement, conditional discharge or probation (if applicable

When I was changing my jobs, and asked my AINP officer. She said they will not cancel my AINP certificate and hence, my PR file until unless I am not working. As long as I have a job that meets eligibilty criteria, I should be good.

Again, depends on a specific situation.
Outland applicants obviously do not work in Canada while their application is processed.
Some people had to leave the country, they are not working either.

HI I have friends who quite job right after his MPNP and he applied for PR. He also mentioned in application about unemployment. Then after he went outside of country to for two times and still he got his PR. So i Believe work is not much imp after AINP. However, if you quite job then i would say don't tell anybody about it. Be quite and get your PR first.
