Im planning to contact my mp.
I have no idea how to do that so i search i the web.
Im in north alberta...and i found in the parliament webpage how to find my local mp.

I hope its the one.
My question is...
What do u guys tell him or how u ask for his/her help?
What do u tell mp in order he/she can get info from my file in cic?

Pleaseeeee i know many of u tried this.

Just click on the following website and type your postal code. It will show your local MP and his contact information.
http://www.lop.parl.gc.ca/ParlInfo/compilations/houseofcommons/memberbypostalcode.aspx?Menu=HOC
You need to call them first to make an appointment. When you call them tell that you are requesting to check the status of your permanent residence application. Also you need to provide them your UCI/Client ID, Application Number, Primary and Dependent (if applicable) applicants name and date of birth. That's how I did. Once you submit the request they will take around 10 business days to check the status.

I contacted my MP on Monday and I got respond early afternoon on Tuesday. Your MP must be freaking lazy.

I sent mail explaining my situation and the same day someone from the office called me and ask to sign papers to authorize the office to inquire on file, they sent me email with documents. I did it right away.
Next day (Tuesday) I had answers to my questions

I've contacted mine (Manitoba), as well. He, also, invited me to his office this Tuesday to sing that papers (authorization). From that point I don't know how long will take to have a replied from CIC..
Any recommendation about What says in order to push him or make him feels compromised to put pressure on CIC to release us PR?

The office will just ask exact details of your timeline and situation and what reason you have in getting them involved. I spoke to my local office and they contacted CIC directly with formal letter and got a response next day. The response was clarifying that everything was valid, the quote time extended to 16 months from 15 months, and that a final decision was waiting to be mad. Nothing much more than I knew already. It will only help more I think if you surpass the quote time, then the MP office will put pressure on CIC to make that final decision.

I contacted just before 15 months and it hasn't really paid off as of yet. I'm going to wait again till the 16month mark.

I dont know man. It's hard to say. I would send them an email to the email they give in the Ready for Visa email.

By the way, My return tracker has just been activated!!! Item processed today at 6pm Ottawa time.

I guess wait until is 16 days to contact them so maybe we get diferent answers...than what we know

how many days since u sent your passport etc?

please keep us updated even until landing if you can so we can have an idea how things are until the end fo rthe ones that still waiting for this dreaming end
