Does that mean that our files June 2015 falls under new files category? If yes then we will get ppr in 2017 and it's not fair..

2015 - April / May / June / July / August / Sept / Oct / Nov / Dec

2016 - Jan / Feb/ March

If they say ''new files''..... I dont think June or July are new files..... New files would be in my opinion applications submitted in 2016 at least.

Inland April 30th applicant with spouse and dependents got ready for visa email today at 4:48AM. But I check on MyCIC and Ecas nothing updated!!
Hang on tight guys when it rains it pours!!!!

Congratulations Nudang99. This gives people hope that CIC is actually working on old cases and moving forward. I hope they move now to June applicants and then July.

Please I need help and your opinion,

In Canada are university or hotel semiskilled workers Civil servants? I need it for Schedule A, section 10 Government postions.
If anyone had the same experiense and/or worked at those places did you write them as government positions? I am so confused

Hello all,

My journey has (for now at least) come to an end - I went home and checked my mailbox over lunch, and found my nice new shiny PR card waiting for me!

It's a GREAT relief to not have to worry about forms, or deadlines, for five whole years... until I renew the card

And it's the end of the journey for now, because I fully intend to become a Canadian citizen as soon as is possible. I hope that Bill C6 will work its way through government quickly, so that the residence requirement for citizenship will be reduced. If it does, I'll be able to start my application in 2018 rather than 2020. *fingers crossed*

Once again, huge thanks to everyone here - this has been a rollercoaster ride, and an excellent 'support group'; plus a great place for us to share tips and experience, and generally just vent our frustration.

I'll likely still lurk around reading things (as I have been since landing in June)

thanks for ur reply ,,yes i got my AOR in oct 2015,,i tried to link it ,,but its not working.
















Yea, applicants that already got AOR recieved dis notification on there ECAS, but
you can link your application if you get AOR before january 2015, anytin below that, will tell you application not found

Hi cali, I am not able to link my application too and cic agent told me that it's normal. Some applications will not be linked due to technical error or would not allow to link at all. I guess we are in those unlucky files....

Congratulations Genconian! I am April 10 applicant still waiting for PPR. A second line was added to my eclient status too and myCIC background check also changed to in progress from not needed at this time. This happened about two weeks ago. Hopefully something positive shows up soon.
