2 of my friends who got PR before got it within 10-11 months. CIC seems to be becoming more inefficient, wonder what they are really doing...

No specific order. It depends on the office/some criteria i guess as we have seen both cases in large numbers but mostly nowadays for inlanders its ppr directly and then sometimes DM (or dont know what other statues we get as people dont update much after ppr). Also after ppr who cares what status it turns into.

That too you had addl doc request hence i thought yours would come first in the bunch but seems like something else is going on. Hoping they will start sending ppr tomorrow due to long weekend possibly extended till today.
I really dont want to wait for next week but i do have some fear though. Will see.
Good luck to all whoever is waiting to see some ppr shower tomorrow.

CPC-Ottawa received my passport photocopy on May 18, and I just receive Confirmation of Permanent Residence today!!
It's so quick!! ;D

hello guys !! I need urgent suggestion . I have been nominated from Alberta province . I am about to apply for my PR I need bit guidance regarding from IMM 0008 form:

should I use question no 2 ) other under permit holder
or do I click on economic : provincial nominee ( how much fund do I need to have in order to fill under schedule 4 )

can any please guide me regarding this situation . do I really need to show funds .

hey how are you !! congrats to you too . I think you received it as well right . yeah so that means we are supposed to write others in that column and we are still permit holder . we are not filling schedule 4 page at all . that the confusion. can you tell me as I m applying by my own.
