PNP - PR - April-May-June 2015 Applicants!

Hey guys I have a question. I was asked to submit my PCC by May 22. I already did that on April 1. In my GCMS notes too, the date is marked as May 22 due date. Does that mean there are no chances of them reviewing my file before that? You views would be appreciated Harirajmohan

A new thing I read on the CIC website. It says that after a specific limit has been met,you might have to wait longer. Could that be a reason that they have the so called silence attacks and then recover after intervals.

The return tracking number has been activated today passport is on its way back with the COPR !! will be going to the US for holidays and landing on my way back sometime late June

I`m also a June inland applicant from Labrador and received my MR yesterday.

Hopefully I can get my PR soon, but I have a question:

After I receive my PR I still hve to wait 3 month for getting the PR card. What kind of difference does that card make? Is that only needed to leave the country and come back?

I`m asking this because I have to buy a second car and some other expensive stuffs. What happens if I get PR and loose my job in the meantime I`m waiting for my PR card? I do not want to spend a lot of money and than having troubles to sell all those new stuffs with a big loss.
I`m not planning to leave the country this year for sure.

4. I`m not planning to leave the country this year for sure.

1. No difference in status after landing - either you receive PR card or not.
2. Yes - nothing more. You can just live in the country without that as well - its not going to stop your benefit of any kind.
3. Proof of landing is the only thing needed if someone asks for pr card.
4. Whenever you are planning to leave, you need to just make sure you have pr card or else you will have to apply for the travel document in the embassy in the country you visit.

I'm wondering if is AOR receiving time make big differences on our application? I saw people getting PPR with similar timeline like me but their AOR dates are earlier than me. Any thoughts?

Its just purely with that officer i guess to push the updates on time and come back and review it.
On the other hand i dont know how they update the application without even assigning an officer - my application doesnt have any officer assigned or due date set but they reviewed the assessments except security (like others).
So could not guess exactly how they work...

Dont know why nowadays ppr rain is not there. Thinking ottawa has taken up some additional work from last month hence busy in doing it, thats why mass PPRs cannot be handled - is this the case?

Hello guys,
I applied my federal file for PR under provincial nominee program in May,2015. last month i visited India and get married. Do i have to include my wife in my file or i can wait for my PR and after that i will apply her file. Actually, i am on bonded work permit and i want to get PR soon, so i could somewhere else. Adding my wife in my current file will delay the process. So, my question is , Is there any cons in declaring my marital status after my PR? Additionally, i didn't get my marriage certificate in India yet, i just had the marriage ceremony. Please help me I'm in really biased situation.

You have to let them know even if it delays your application. If you do not tell them before you get PR then you will never be able to sponsor your wife to move here with you.

One of the questions My BF was asked when he landed was if he had a spouse that he has not declared on his application. So if you lie then you will have no chance of sponsoring her and if you tell the truth they could refuse giving you PR right there and you could have to start the application all over again.

They can deny you PR even after you have the COPR . The agent doing your landing has final say in you actually getting PR. CIC is very clear that you must declared changes to your situation such as getting married or having children.

DO NOT risk it just to save some time now, it could cost so much more later. Contact them now and tell them you got married and that you will submit the certificate as soon as you get it.

Hi, June 2015 applicant,received MR day before yesterday. Need some help!! My spouse lives in India and I am the main applicant here in Canada, the MR letter addressed to my spouse contains my Canadian address and not his Indian address, is this an issue ?? I am very sure that we had put her address in her forms,or is it just that cic may have put the main applicants address on both the MR letters.
