Hello June applicants,
following are my case details-

application recieved by CIC- june 22, 2015
AOR recieved - sept 10, 2015
got remnder email- today jan 27, 2016

I understood the email but it still leaves some confusion

1. Nothing is mentioned in email about regular police check or RCMP. And I have submitted recent police check from AB (issued on june 12, just 10 days before sending CIC application) and my old police check from india (issued in 2013, just before i left for canada)) at the time of application. So is it necessary to submit any updated or recent police check from india? They have not mention about validity. moreover I have not been to india after i came to canada. :'(

Please clarify my doubts...

I saw in your above post that you are inland and hence need to clarify a doubt with you.
I noticed in your timeline that you mentioned file transfer date xx/xx/xx. I am wondering if inland application also has file transfer procedure. I thought it was only for Outland applicants.

I am also a inland applicant and my AOR is 09-09-2015. Awaiting MR.
So do all applicants receive a mail for additional doc submissions and RPRF before MR or it varies widely from person to person. And also does this reminder email is a hint that you will get MR soon.

Just curious what will be the next step I am heading into.

- By File Transfer, I meant the date they actually received the application. They received within two days after I sent via courier.

- All the June applicant did receive the email, as you can see most people in the forum confirmed that. I had a friend who applied on April and received the email on November asking to pay the fee and then medical on December.

You should have provided a new Police certificate from India during the time of your application. The one you submitted from 2013 is old. So try sending a new one. I also had a PCC from 2013 while coming here but included a new PCC while submitting my application.

As far as Canadian PCC or RCMP is concerned you don't have to submit it until and unless they ask you for it specifically. It's mentioned in these links

Thanks, cool that's what I am going to choose then. I will mention in the message box under enquiry that I am an inland applicant and selected outland since there was no option for inland applicant.

is it a visa debit ? u can use a visa debit to pay for stuff online i used it once to book a flight but i never used it to pay for CIC
