Good news for April aplicants!

Today Decision Made!! =)

Timeline- .
Received file - April 10
Process start- XE sent - June 4, 2015
EP & UCI sent - July 8, 2015
Landing fee and criminal check requested- Nov 9,2015
Medical request - Nov 26, 2015 (Upfront)
Medical received Jan 11, 2016
Decision made Feb 22, 2016

I think I don´t need PPR because I am one of the visa exempt countries.

I think, We should ask her to call CIC just give them a reminder as they can not do nomral ME without the form. If they did ME now it is just an upfront one. Although they are not a big difference.

But still it is kind contradictory email on the one hand they are asking for ME in order to move forward the application, on the other hand there is no formal MR.

Probably CIC mail distribute system is not working and they think they had send MR but in fact they didn't? Hope this is not the case

April applicants start receiving DM/PPR. So, for May ones, coming to your turn soon, be ready! For Jun ones, don't be panic while you are waiting for MR as it will be coming soon as well. Remember, 80% of applications will be processed within 11 months time frame which means you have big chance to get PPR very soon after MR done

So on CIC processing times it say that PR application takes about 15 months processing.I think they will be processing all the applications received by the end of May in 11-12 months and the applications received starting June 2015 in around 15 months.. That would explain why June applicants haven't received MR yet.

On CIC website, they state that they commit to process 80% of applications within 11 months

That's correct.
Most people I know we're done within 8 to 12 months
So 11 months is a good average I think

Just curious is there anyone applied GMCS notes? Just wondering Medical is the only pending issue.
