Did any June applicant get Medical Request?? It's been almost 8 months!!

Manila is little slow hence thinking that they will start in sometime. Also you might have requested your notes before or around your MR-RPRF email time period. As they start processing the application with sending this email first (as far as i see the posts from some of the applicants), they would have initiated it now. So you can see the progress in the next few months.
Also actually these are just matter of few months time frame to complete as they revisit the applications sooner than any other VOs. So give it some more time and request gcms again.

That's why I said "it is very strange" because MR results are there (with "passed") but the others grounds (eligibility, criminality and security) have not started yet. I read in many threads of this forum that eligibility and criminality normally would complete before MR request is sent out

I dont think eligibility and criminality assessments are getting completed by the time they send MR at least for inlands.
Also for the outland file transferred for some of my batch mates (Manila and Paris), their file used to transfer in 2-3 weeks of EP and then they used to get MR in the next 2-3 weeks. So i dont any visa office can complete (at least i have not heard) hence i believe they dont complete but possibility of starting it though. May be true but never read like one.

Coming to your file, nowadays its slow even in Manila hence will have to wait and see. The MR-RPRF email is a good progress hence keep the hopes high, it will move. Good luck buddy.

I may make you confused. "Medical received" that I said means they have received my medcial results and have it assessed with "passes". That made me surprise as in my case Medical completed first

I just wanna share my aunt's / cousin's situation before. My aunt is the principal applicant then my cousins are the dependents, they are done and passed the medical, they paid all the fees. But after almost a month they got refused/denied due to background check. So I think in some situation they give medical request though the background checking is not yet finished.

Would you mind elaborating why were they denied due to background check? Didn't they submit police certificates on time? Or was there any criminal history?

its because of the criminal background of her husband. but they were separated for so many years. and his husband is not included in their application. I don't know why they were denied.

yes that is sometimes so wierd. there is no sense that their application can be denied becouse of her ex husband or they are still in marriage??
something same and wierd in my situation is that me and my husband has 2 kids with us here, and his older daughter(which is not mine) 14years old live with her mom in back home . so either i put her like NON ACCOMPANING DEPENDANT they ask me all time for her all papers like for my kids which live in canada , .
i wrote them note that she will not come here for sure before 18years old becouse her mom is crazy and dont allowed her. so anyway we need to do medical for her , even if she is not coming , and now the bigest problem will be her crazy mother.
what if she will not allowed her to do medical for us , becouse she doesnt want to help us.
at the end it is possibility that my PR application could be denied becouse of person who will not come in Canada maybe never. no sense but we cant to anything there

You have to send a letter in wich you declare that she will not do the medical and that you are aware that she will be forever exempt of family sponsoring and tgat you want to proceed your application without her. Then you go get that notarized and send it.
She will be exempt from coming to canada through family sponsoring bit you can proceed your application

yeah youre right, its kinda weird. they also ask for all the papers and medical of my aunt's husband though he's not accompanying nor included in the application. so that's the reason they got refused.

i heard that that can be solution, but while ago was one guy , whose application was refused becouse of same reason . and exactly that write in explaqnation why it is refused , that is why i am scared all time . i will pay her if she want i will do everything that my husbands daughter do medical , that will be the best . but last 10 years we have problem with her mom(my husbands ex) , so who knows . i will let you know. i expect MR to come every day
