You know what guys? I think we should now take Twitter route and start targeting John McCollum and Justin Trudeau. I am not sure whether petition will work or not but I am sure this will for sure. Let's try this hashtag. #sluggishprocessingircc

I dont understand why some of you believe CIC is some kind of God that needs to be respected no matter what they do and when they do it. All those things about that getting PR is a gift and not a right or whatever.

Nobody here complains about CIC having a lot of work. Anybody with two eyes and ten fingers could understand that if you are super busy you might need more time. But after all, people want to be informed. To have information. To have clear answers. and We are paying for this!! Never forget that. It's not free.

When you get something free you cannot say a word , but when you pay for something, even if you get refused or approved, what you expect at least is some kind of good treatment. For example. If I call CIC I know I cannot ask them to do my application faster than yours, but at least I expect to get some information, like ''your security is in process, it might take a couple months''. Why is that too much asking??? Why is too much asking to get good and polite answers??

Why when people go over 15th months, and they send an inquiry to IRCC they just get an stupid answer '''we confirm your application is in progress'' ?? REallly??Really?? that' sthe best thing they can do??

Think about this a few minutes please.

I totally agree with your views. If they keep the applicants well informed and give them the real processing times, it will in fact reduce their burden of having to answer hundreds of queries via different channels.

I sent a email to federal MP and no reply since.

I applied for a gcms for the first time On sep 1. Waiting for info. Will update.

TOTALLY AGREE!!!!... Have you already written to this lady? Just to know. I've written in Twitter (IRCC, PM, even in some Immigrant Consultant profile) but no answer yet. I asked to a Lawyer who every Friday give free advice in his Facebook profile, He told me, after 15 months his clients are receiving their PR... but, as we all know, depend on each case....

a small update..... someone applied in May 2015. got ppr yesterday. at first it is inland then transfered to overseas office. more than 16 months

That's exactly what I do. I try not to check the forum and give myself a break, but I end up checking it anyway....

Just called CIC,,, Same story again,,, everything passed application is waiting for final review,,, I got asked to wait till December. I feels like helpless... I am June 26th, 2015 Inland applicant.

I wanna think they tell you wait till december for two reasons.

1. Normal procedure is to tell caller to wait 3 months and call again.
2. Because they are sure you will get news before that date and by telling you to wait till December they might think you wont call again, so one less person to deal with.

its now 19 months , No specific reason just in security check, and they said we cannot guarantee how long will take
