i think u need to have a valid work permit when u do landing ... im not sure if they accept a receipt that u have applied for a wp ... it looks like its taking around a year for pr with the jan and feb applicants so if thats the case we should get our pr around april
Thanks mm88,
Our timeline is very similar (BC PNP)
PR application received: April 10,2015
AOR received: July 8, 2015
Start processing: July 9,2015
Med request: Nov 26, 2015
Med done: Dec 23, 2015
My current WP will expire on May 6, 2016. So I think I should get my WP extended just in case I won't get PR before that.

Does anyone know how to get GCMS notes?
When select file types, do we select "Immigratioin file: permenant residence" or "Application for permenant residence card"
If we select the first one, where can I find the file number?

Thanks,
KEV

Thanks for your advice, also I am wondering if I could go to the border to do flagpoling, the online application process time is 144 days.
Do you know if I am eligible for flagpoling?

Thanks,
KEV

you can't flagpole for a BOWP. but as long as you apply for a WP before your current one expires you will get implied status while you wait for them to process your WP You can continue working under the same terms as your current WP while on implied status. If you think you made a mistake on your WP application (and it sounds like you did ) then do the application again and try to get a refund for the one made the mistake on.

Don't worry about getting the new WP before your current one expires because you will have implied status.

Thanks Mbgirlfriend, I will call CIC agent tomorrow and see if I could get a refund or I could just submit additional files for my WP.
I think most of the Feb applications got their PPR this month, and didn't seem much March applicants, so hopefully we are next in line!

Cheers.

So my bf got an email and I can't tell if they are actually asking for a police check and english test or if its just a reminder. He did send coppies of both with application. But, his police check would be over a year old now so we have been kind of expecting them to request another one.
Inlanders,
Any more document request for anyone else? Trying to see if they completed and moved on to final stage of DM/PPR for April applicants.
I think it is as few of May applicants are getting additional doc request.

No updates yet!! M April 10th applicant. And one thing that surprised me that none of the March applicants are participating to provide any update.

Hopefully there are not many applicants in March, so we the April applicants get processed faster! lol.

Seems like March applicants start to get PPRs, been pretty quite here lately. Keep it up guys, should be our turn soon.

What do you guys think about UPFRONT medical exam? They say at the doctors office they keep medical exam on a file for 1 year and its a usual procedure. However, in the papers for PR instructions, its says DO NOT DO MEDICAL UPFRONT...
I heard that people do it all the time...

Opinions?
