Does anyone know how many days it takes for cic to return pp with visa? i know this is nothing compared to what we have been through but i am still suffering from PTSD after 10 months wait for aor.

3 weeks the most for others. It took 10 or 11 days for mine. I used the Priority of Canada Post. I dont know if it made a difference.

I have another kinda stupid question: I got PPR on 27th may. My ecas was still showing medical received.
Today ecas shows IP. I dont think its coherent? but then nothing much is for cic/ecas

2 weeks optimistically for return of PP with visa.
ECAS is not real-time. They do batch updates from different departments at different times it seems.

Hi Everyone,
I've couple of questions.
I got the MR on May 8,2015 and Medicals completed on May 12,2015. Its been more than 2 weeks and still my status shows as Application Received.
How long its going to get the medicals ??
Another one is about my PCC. I've applied August 2014. My PCC was attached to my application when I applied on Aug 2015.
I've paid my RPRF on May 15, 2015 and I haven't get any additional document request with my RPRF. Do I need to take another PCC ? I haven't gone back to my home country after applying PR.

Hard to say when you will see your ECAS changing. Best way to know is go back to your doctor and ask if they've sent your result or not? I think it will take 2 weeks for the result and then it will be transfer to CIC.
No need to take another PCC. If they need a new one, they will ask you. But if you haven't gone anywhere after applying then don't worry. The only thing you can be asked is RCMP clearance and fingerprint. You are August applicants, now they are processing June, July applicants. So I think you will have something in the next 2 months.

A decision has been made on your file. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
Is that normal ?

Hey shammysidhu90, Could you let us know when did you get your IP?

Ecas shows IP on 21st April for me, and there's been no news since then for me, still IP...I'm getting a little worried here, should I apply for GCMS now? Does calling CIC help? I appreciate any suggestion. Thanks!

Big Congrats to Dvdpsd and Android. Really happy for you guys. I am still on IP from May 25, so I've my fingers crossed. I just hope that it won't take it long enough.

Dont worry as long as you have the ppr then your immigrant visa is now ready. I went straight to PPR, no DM. After a week my Ecas show DM and I sent my passport to ottawa by then.

Hi,

I did my medical on May 20th, Paid RPRF on May 18th, and submitted requested PCCs on May 25th.
any idea how much time would it take to get DM --> PPR? I read somewhere that to get the visa, passport should be valid for more than six months.
My passport is expiring in next year Feb which means my six month period will start in August this year. Debating to renew my passport now or wait.
any information or ideas are greatly appreciated.
