HI guys, got PCC request yesterday. Question, I have PCCs for Canada and India issued in August 2014, can I submit those or do I have to get a new one?

You have to submit the new copy as PCC are valid for 6 months only

My PNP letter says my NOC level and job title not my employer's name or anything else ? But If I am getting better NOC level job ?

Just call your province to get an answer.

At the time of submission the PCC cannot be more than 3 months old. In this case s/he has to apply and submit a new PCC.

CIC websote says: It has to be valid no more than 6 months "before you apply". I don`t know what 'before you apply' means.

For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.

For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.


I guess I should just apply for new one as mine is old than 6 months

It takes a day or two to be able to see notes on your file by Call centre agent. I was also told the same, but got PPR other day. Congrats, keep on checking your inbox and smap

Does anyone know how many days it takes for cic to return pp with visa? i know this is nothing compared to what we have been through but i am still suffering from PTSD after 10 months wait for aor.

Hi Everyone,
I've couple of questions.
I got the MR on May 8,2015 and Medicals completed on May 12,2015. Its been more than 2 weeks and still my status shows as Application Received.
How long its going to get the medicals ??
Another one is about my PCC. I've applied August 2014. My PCC was attached to my application when I applied on Aug 2015.
I've paid my RPRF on May 15, 2015 and I haven't get any additional document request with my RPRF. Do I need to take another PCC ? I haven't gone back to my home country after applying PR.

Does anyone know how many days it takes for cic to return pp with visa? i know this is nothing compared to what we have been through but i am still suffering from PTSD after 10 months wait for aor.

It used to be a week in general. But, because of clearing of this backlog, 2 weeks on average. Mine reached on Wednesday last week, return tracker is not active yet.
