Could you please tell me why were you asked to resubmit pcc? Mine will expire soon and no MR yet. I can't think of going through that process again.
I dont understand the logic of asking for pcc from home country again if one hasn't visited and stayed more than 6 months in that country since the last pcc certificate.

I am dreading that as well. At this point, my pcc has expired. I am 99% sure they will ask for it since it has been over a year since issuance. That is the policy. You cant do anything about it.

Does not make sense asking for pcc when u haven't stayed for 6 months since issuance but i guess sensibility and logic does not apply in this case. It has been a paying and waiting game. -ve NPV

I agree with you but cic may argue that it will be a positive npv because the timeframe is way too long and there's high terminal growth rate.

I can't say it enough what you guys' comment mean to me. This forum is the only thing that is helping me to keep my sanity.

Nah, mine expired already and that was not the reason that they asked me to submit it again. So don't worry

In the same boat as you except applied late may and only received AOR last month. I am very frustrated about being stuck with my employer until the process completes while CIC seems to be in no hurry.

I feel your pain @_MK_ . I can't wait to get PR and then explore other employment options - I guess that's compounding our already tense wait lol.

Anyway I'm glad I'm not alone because I was about to write a very blunt and strongly worded email to both the immigration minister and CIC after seeing alot of May/June applicants get PR (Congrats again btw. Really happy for you guys that you made it ) but seeing that I'm not alone has helped calm the nerves I guess. But I really hope we all get through this stage of our lives quickly.

Here's a fun thought .... think about the interesting immigration stories we'll have to tell our kids one day lol
