Hi All, Finally tracker got activated today at 6:30 EST. Should get the passport back by Friday. Will keep you guys updated. Going to the border on Saturday around 8pm, which border should I pick? Carway or Coutts? From the looks of it, the website doesn't list Carway having Immigration services?

Should be tomorrow. CIC is just super unorganized. I am thinking of joining politics after I am citizen and becoming the Minister of Immigration one day. Someone has to clean this mess up right?

This is so frustrating.
Tomorrow is gonna be 3 weeks since I've sent my passposrt. And the tracking number hasn't been activated

Hi guys,

I recently applied for a BOWP and it requires the CIC acknowledgment of receipt (AOR) letter, just want to confirm what is the AOR letter? I couldn't find any emails from CIC has that name.
The one I submitted is the RPRF Receipt, but from what I read in this Forum, it seems like the AOR letter is the email from CIC that has the EP# and UCI #, does anyone familiar with this? what excatly is the AOR letter, I called the CIC agent today and even they couldn't tell me which one the AOR letter.

Hey Guys I was wondering if anyone here can help me out. Below is my situation:

1. Provincial Nomination from Alberta under Employer Driven Stream on January 12th, 2015.
2. PR application received by CIC, Sydney, NS on January 29th, 2015.
3. Medical's received
4. Request for addition documents(Schedule A -IMM5669), and Landing Fees on October 1st, 2015.

I send the documents via FAX, and mailed them as well. I also paid the fees.

My application still is under process.


Now the situation is I have been offered a position of Assistant Front Office Manager at a different company.


My question is if I accept the job offer, will this affect my PR (my nomination was Employer Driven Stream)
Alot of my friends in Calgary say it will not affect my application as my nomination is already aproved, and CIC does not care about that.

I was also thinking of accepting the new job offer, and continuing at my current work place as "Part-Time Employee" until I receive passport request.

Sorry for making this lengthy, and your valuable adive is highly appreciated.

Did you receive any correspondence in which your file number is stated? If yes, that is AOR letter

Congratulations Masssa.

While my tracker got activated yesterday evening, nothing has happened on Canada post tracking today. I hope it is on its way and be here by tomorrow. I already made plans for Saturday landing. I hope Canada Post doesn't play games with me like CIC did. lol.
