Anyone use your old medical exam for your pr application?
I got medical exam request on Nov 30th, after contact ircc turns out we got an email said they will use our old medical exam (2016 which was 5 years old).
Gckey shows my action is request, but it change to "we did not receive your medical exam".
I think this is the system automatically change after 30 days.
I did upload the email proof that we got exempt from "in canada policy" to webform on Dec 7th. Any suggestions?

What date was your medical completed? It has to be within the last 5 years, so if that date has since lapsed to 5 years + 1 day, you would need to do it again: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...anada-requiring-immigration-medical-exam.html
Medical has to be valid up until you enter Canada as PR, so you may have to do it again.
Our medical exam was 2016 Jan.
We was going to re do our medical exam when we received the request.
But our location does not on the panel physician list on ircc website. So we called ircc to provide our doctor information(this is the way that all our friend done their medical exam here),once ircc send the authorities letter to the doctor and we can do it here.
But turns out ircc replied to us on Dec 2nd said we don't need to do a new one according to" in canada policy "(we live in canada since 2017 only left 3 months in 2019 till now), the email indicate our old IME number and said we can save time and money....
I really don't know what's going on now.
If we really need to do it again. Still need to let the ircc send email authority our doctor here.
I really hope it won't turn out I waste a month and still need to do it.

The current work permit renewal time is about 120 days. If the new work permit has not been approved when the work permit expires, don't forget to take a screenshot of the work permit application page and apply for an extended medical card.
do you know how to get medical card with approval letter ? i dont have original copy yet. i live in ontario.
