How to get temporary file number??

I called 8882422100
just put your information (UCI and year of birth) and ask to talk to the agent. (option zero)
then just ask for the temporary file number and they will give it to you straight away....
I had a 40 min wait to talk to the agent

AR Sept 30, 2020. Through webform got temp file # on 3rd May 2021. No news since then. Our file is bulky, applicant plus 4 dependents including PCC from 5 countries including home country. Upfront medical already done. Biometric valid. Not sure what is slowing the case beyond 8 months. Fingers crossed

They told me we don’t have any information in system yet

I submitted my upfront medical exam using my temporary file number... - no answer yet
It also gives peace of mind knowing that they have your application and that they are already working on it

It means that they didnt open your application yet... Try again in few weeks
