CRS - 399
NOC - 2175 (Web developer)
EE Profile submitted - 23/09/2019

I've submitted various PNP including sinp. No response, no change in my status, no ITA. It's very discouraging

You have only and only one way ((a Valid Job Offer!)) if you're Inland then hopefully easy to get it, but if you abroad / overseas workers like me then it's ((The Impossible mission! )).

Hello All

I have searched quite a lot about this topic but didnt find anything much. Here's the current situation:

1. I gave IELTS recently in Feb 20 and got - L-8.5, R-7, W-7.5, S-7.5
2. I am getting 438 with this and everything else in my profile when I checked here - https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
3. I have 6 years of experience in IT - NOC code would be 2172/2173 ( Performance/ Automation Engineer) as an SDET in various companies in India
4. Corona happened to the world

I wish to immigrate to Canada, and I feel with 438, its a long shot. So, keeping a 2 year window in mind I have got three options:

1. Go for a postal 1 year post grad course from any university (recognized by IRCC and AICTE) which will add around 30-35 points to my CRS (if its considered valid)
2. Learn French (assuming a 1 year window) and hope to God to score a comfortable CLB in TEF or TCF for a better CRS score
3. Do nothing and just go with current credentials and apply now for PR along with OINP and/or other PNPs and hope that i get nomination.

Please input any thoughts/ feedback and suggest which of the above three options I should pursue. Thanks again!

Hello Everyone,

1. I am a SAS Programmer/Analyst, snd have selected NOC 2174 in EE and used the same in SINP EOI. Any SAS programmers here who used the same code or s different one?
2. Is it allowed to use different NOC in EOI compared to one in EE?
3. My degree is not same as profession, hence need to obtain membership certificate from CIPS. I have 5yrs wrk experience and hoping i can get membership by taking their exam. if anyone has obtained this, can you pls share your experience? I have emailed them and awaiting response for a while now.
4. Will it be okay to select ‘NO’ for professional status and licensure question in EOI and update to YES once certificate of license is obtained? So that I do not miss upcoming draws?

Any suggestions appreciated! thanks.

Hello Everyone,

I have the following profile in the pool.

CRS: 417
NOC: 2172 (Database analysts and data administrators)
2 years experience as a Data Scientist

Actually my writing score is 6.5. I am planning to retake it until I make it 7. When it is 7, my score becomes 475. But in any case, I am still interested for a PnP. Do you think I will have a chance for PNP in Ontario in a year?

2172 is a NOC for which Ontario issues NOI in its Tech Draws. Increase your CRS score and you might receive NOI in the future. All the best! :)
