Thanks! nope, didn't ask for anything. They just sent me the letter and a bio sheet attached to it for me to complete and send back along with my passport. THought they were going to at least ask for an updated FBI clearance (i live in the US) and I had already asked for another one but nothing!!! It feels great to be able to move on with my life...it was about time!

It'll come for you and everyone else...just a bit more patience.

I think quebeqers are being reviewed a bit differently than PNP. So don't hold much hope(

Thanks all! It's a wonderful feeling. Funny how I could not wait to get home and share the news with you guys...felt like no one else would understand what a long journey it's been !!! I had gotten to a point where I had kinda given up I have to admit and had let go of expecting anything anytime soon. So for those of you still waiting...just know it's coming...no need to make yourself go mad by checking ecas and notes all the time. THanks again for the support...I'll share my landing experience soon.

Received an email too for Case Status, requesting for 3 things: Pay RPRF, send Personal history since Feb 2012, and photocopy of passport. See how it goes, will send everything today.

Hope everybody gets an email as well....Almost there !

Pari, correct me if I am wrong, but I saw your post in which you mentioned that you have applied in VFS for police clearance form your country. I am not sure you are form India or not. but if you are,I got a news yesterday that VFS is no more partner of Indian consulate.

People who submitted their PPs to VFS are stuck in limbo now, as of March 1st 2013, VFS no more a partner of Indian consulate.

There is a new company BIS or something thats processing Indian Visas and other stuff.

Its just an FYI.

· Request for Medical Exam: Request for Medical Exam for your wife. This must be received at this office by: 07/03/2013

· Schedule A: A separate and newly completed Schedule A Background Declaration form for your wife (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature This must be received at this office by: 07/03/2013
· Additional Family Info IMM5645: A completed Additional Family Information form for your wife (IMM5645) This must be received at this office by: 07/03/2013

· Passport/Travel Document: Please provide a PHOTOCOPY of a valid passport or travel document for your wife. This must be received at this office by: 07/03/2013

· Birth registration/certificate: Please provide a birth registration/certificate for your wife. This must be received at this office by: 07/03/2013

· Marriage Certificate / Licence: Please provide a marriage/certificate(s) for you and your wife. This must be received at this office by: 07/03/2013


· RPRF: Pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee for both you and your wife as well as $550 for an family member. This must be received at this office by: 07/02/2013

· Updated details of your personal history since March 2012. Start with the most recent information, indicate your occupation or job title if you were working. If you were not working, provide information on what you were doing (ie. Unemployed, studying, traveling, etc). Please include city/town or country and the name of the institution/company.

Please help me to fix two things. One is the additional family info form, which should be IMM 5406. Why did they ask for IMM5645 (family info form)? The other is the fee, I have paid 490*2+550=1530D. Is it correct? Thank you guys very much, my friends. Once I come here, I always can find new hope in my mind.
