Superhero,

Did you submit your application to CIO? I did not see your name on the list of application status maintained by this tread.

Are you from India so that Household registry not applicable? I am from China. I did have national ID, but expired years ago and have no chanve to renew since I have been in US for many years. But I did have house registry book in Chinese. Any comments for me to handle this issue? That house regstry will not tell CIO any new more information than my passport. Please help. I have to spend another $100 on it to translate and notarize it here in US.

Hello Mannu Bobby:

Thanks for the Info....n ya i checked the new check list and they dont need education and employment documents that mean they will just check our PCC (Police clearance), medical and processing n landing fees.....so I am damm sure they will not take more than 5 months.....as they mention in new checklist that bank draft need experiation of 5 months...that's y i m guessing that they ll take less processing time....cheers.... :)....

Yea superhero,

Lets hope for the best .. from the looks of it, I am sure we can get the whole thing sorted in the next 3 to 5 months and really looking forward to that as well.. cant wait for the magic sticker :)

Hi Friends,
AOA...

Prayers for everyone to get everything right soon...

I don't know why they have are not asking educational and employment credentials... According to my understanding they have done this to reduce the processing time at VO part and all the checks would be solely carry out on PNP part... what you guys think..?

Regards.

I think the same .. and from the looks of it, our entire processing should be done in the next 3 to 5 months.. and if thats the case.. it should be really good for us .. cheers :)

I guess at-least they ll take 4 to 6 weeks to send AOR....what u say Mannu....

Yes I guess so, and that is what I understood from the website..

How to Contact the Centralized Intake Office

Federal and Quebec skilled workers, provincial nominees and federal investors who applied to the Centralized Intake Office and have a request for case information may contact the Client Service Unit.

You will not receive a reply to your email if:

you have not already applied under one of the above categories
you are not authorized to receive personal information
you applied within the last six weeks
your enquiry concerns a topic other than your case.
Please do not send the same enquiry more than once. You can reach the CSU at CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca.

Courier address
Centralized Intake Office
47-49 Dorchester Street
Sydney, NS B1P 5Z2
Canada

Please write the program you are applying under on the outside of the envelope (federal skilled worker / FSW, provincial nominee / PN, Quebec-selected skilled worker / QSW, investor).

If you see the part marked in red, it says we can contact them after 6 weeks if we dont hear from them, which means that would get back to us within that time frame ..

it's really ironic...i did beg to our HR manager to provide me the Employment Certificate as per requirement in the checklist and then the CIC realized it's not necessary anymore ::)
Anyway, I wish we will receive our AOR at the soonest...more prayers and keep on updating!
God bless us all :)

Hiyya OM and Tess,

Totally understand you, coz I had to go through a lot to get an experience letter from my employers both current and past and now they dont even need it, the amount of effort put into it is a lot, but at least the good thing is, here in India, it doesnt cost a lot to notarize all the documents, but I did spend well over $150 equivalent.. which is not as expensive compared to that of any country other than India, but still that amount still went down the drain and I guess we could look at it this way.. a compensation we had to pay for faster processing .. cheers :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Passport Copies: Do we have to send the photocopies of all the pages of your passport? also do we need to send the photocopies of old passport as well?

Everything needs to be put in one big envelope in the order of the document checklist and there is an envelope specification..

Specs
Put the completed forms, supporting documents required by the CIO and fee payment in a 23 cm x 30.5 cm (9” x 12”) envelope.

You need to stick the sticker on the main envelope, unfortunately for me, I forgot to stick it, I am assuming it should not be a problem because unlike before when we send the documents to the visa office, it was generic address, but now we specifically send it as PNP or QSW or FSW, so they should be able to understand that it is PNP, anyways do stick it. :)

They use registry books and other those documents because they need to verify you DOB and family status, the main thing you need is the birth certificate, if you have registry book, then yes translated and notarized copy of that could be included..

Hi Guys,

Which freight service did you use for sending your application? Fedex said it dosnt deliver to PObox numbers. Please help.

Thanks
