Please I need your suggestions. Want to find out if it is possible for me and my spouse to do our medicals in different countries without causing any problems in our application process.

We just received our medical request today, I am in the UK and my spouse is in Nigeria. We choose Accra as our Visa office. Want to know if I can do mine here in the UK ( to save cost of travelling) while my spouse does it in Nigeria.

Did anyone have a similar circumstance pls? If I have to travel to Nigeria at the end of the day, I will, but just looking to see if I have other options.

Hello mate, I suppose there shouldn't be a problem with difference in location of the test center for your e-medical. Notice that the cic sent separate requests for each intending immigrant even each with a unique reference. Hence shouldn't matter from wherever in the diapora each medical is done, e-medical is logged severally and separately to the central database. If you still have doubts toss them an enquiry line: accra immigration@ international.gc.ca

Hello,
I believe you don't have another option other than to use DHL. I was in CIC Ghana office lately and there is now a new notice posted that with effect from 17th February 2014 that picking up visas in person would cease (I advise you call Ghana to confirm this). They advice all to use the DHL, again send them a mail or call to confirm.
