PMM Canadian woman / weird response from mexico city

I sent the following questions to Canadian Embassy Mexico City on November 11th :

Request: Dear Sir or Madam : I would like to know if Client ID # 2******* has been received from Vancouver CBSA. Would the file number will remain the same so we can follow the status online? Client ID# 2****** File No. B 055****** Thank you.


This is the embassy's respond on NOv 17th :

Dear applicant,

Please be advised that our office will advise you if there is any change in your file number. We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondance to a minumum.


MY MAIN QUESTION , IS THE FILE THERE ? ARE THEY WORKING ON IT ? IM SURE THE FILE NUMBER WILL CHANGE AFTER IT WENT THRU APPEAL AND HAS BEEN OUT OF THEIR SYSTEM. THE OLD FILE IS OVER 12 MONTHS OLD.

WHY THEY DID NOT CONFIRM IF THE FILE HAS ARRIVED ? ITS BEEN 3 MONTHS SINCE THE APPEAL WAS GRANTED.


WHATS TO DO WHAT TO DO ? BEEN 3 MONTHS WITHOUT NOT KNOWING ANYTHING AFTER APPEAL WAS GRANTED ON SEPT 7TH

Hey mikeyvr,

I think your best bet is to write them back, and this time, the only question you should ask is whether or not they've received it. That will give them only a couple of possible ways to reply; yes, no, or no answer at all (which will hopefully not be the case). I don't see why they can't confirm they have it, it's not like you're asking them to rush it or something...

The no. you posted is a client id for Canada, the overseas file no. when issued will start with a B******** You really shouldn't post a client id on an open forum. No they won't confirm anything until they send the applicant an AOR.

PMM on their response , on the subject of email , did reply with the B ****** file # on it , still they would not confirm ?
