If you just landed 2 months ago, you don't have to worry about this just yet because it is still 3 years that you have to wait before you can apply and in that time, they may change the rules again for all we know.

Under the current rules, if your wife has an old IELTS she has used to apply for PR, she can use it for citizenship even if it is expired. As for you, you will have to take IELTS General training or CELPIP General or General LS. CELPIP General LS is the cheapest, $150 + tax. CELPIP General 250 + tax. IELTS cost $295. However, if you are going to apply for citizenship 3 years from now, you should wait until you are almost ready to apply and then check if it is still required.
