I sent my application by mail. I applied only last week (January 14th) but I just realized I had to send a prepaid return envelope. How is CIC going to send my passport back?

If you forget to send your express-post envelope, then CIC will send you the passport back by regular mail.
Don't worry, it usually does not get lost and takes about 5-7 business days!

It "usually" doesn't get lost? Do you know any case in which it has gone lost? I'm very worried since I have other countries visas in my passport. Do you know current proccesing time or any way to know if they are proccesing the app?salimnw said:Hello there,

I was reading your post regarding the delayed spouse TRV due to applying online. I wish i would have read this post earlier Sad. My husband (principle applicant) and myself applied for TRV via online on 16th Sept 2015. He received an email to send his passport on 25th Sept 205 but nothing for me as of today. Would appreciate if you can answer my query as you have been through this.
* What email did you guys email for status
* After how long did your wife finally got the trv
* As per the online application I was suppose to submit form IMM5708E. Did your wife submit the same.
* Did they ask for any additional documents from your wife?
Would really appreciate a response and thanks for your help in advance.
