Please share - within Canada TRV Application SEP-OCT2014 Timelines

Hello All

I applied for TRV within Canada on October 20th, 2014. Online it states that the processing time is 14 days and I have not heard back anything yet.

Could you please share your timeline as in when did you apply, Passport request date and the passport received date after being stamped.

I have to leave Canada to get married early next month and I am really worried on when should be expecting for the process to be complete.

Please HELP me guys!!... by sharing your timelines or any suggestions you may have.

I've applied for TRV on November 1, 2014. Online application. I got my passport with visa today. So it took only 13 days.
As far as I know paper application usually takes longer than online application.

My TRV application is online and I have a open work permit.
NOt sure its taking longer than their normal processing time of 14 days. Did you apply within Canada? and whats your current status?

Application Filed: Oct20th
PAssport Request Recieved: 14th November
Passport Recieved by CPP Ottawa: 19th Nov
Passport Recieved back after stamping: 2nd Dec

@Iuliia - How did u send your passport? Did u have to wait for the confirmation from CPP Ottawa before sending the passports? Getting the passport request and getting the visa stamped took only 13 days?

Yes, I got a request from CIC to send my passport. So I sent it the same day (expresspost). It took to deliver it only 1 day (I live in Ontario). I got my passport with visa back a week later.

I applied by paper and sent application with passport attached by express post mail. My case is like starla.My Express-post Mail reached Ottawa on 20th Nov. I still have not received my passport back. I had a flight too and I cancelled it with a penalty fee on the 19th Dec. My Canada post tracker is not activated yet as of today. :-[

I received my passport just in time of my flight...december 10 to be exact.. By december 4, i emailed ottawa about my application and replied its for release thats why i waited to rebook my flight..

Wow that's great news. You at least could fly Starla. I had to miss my flight on the 19th Dec. Don't know what's taking them so long. It has been more than a month they have my passport with them.
