Hello i have my file for Canada immigration. I am on verge of getting medical. My son is dependent he is pursuing masters in USA. He is about to complete his studies. He has an option to undergo OPT(Optional Practical Training). So i have a query that if he undergoes training then would he be left out from dependency and will not be issued visa. What should he do to continue dependency should he opt training or not?

In such a case, it is best he opts out of OPT. It is the safer option too.

What are the primary requirement for persisting his dependency..while pursuing opt he will be under f1 visa ie student visa .So that much info will not be sufficient to prove him dependent..
