The FBI email address that i send mail on was mih @ leo.gov,asheppa2 @ leo.gov

did anyone try emailing these people to expedite service with in 10 days?????????????

I tried to email 2 addresses and both were bounced back.

I tried liason @ leo.gov & do @ leo.gov neither worked.

I sent an email to mih@leo.gov.

The email was not bounced back, nor have I received any reply. I guess I will see if it helps us receive our report back any faster, but seeing as we are already at 6+ weeks, and many people are reporting turnaround times of 7 and 8 weeks, I am pretty doubtful that it had any effect.

They expedite no requests at all, no matter what the reason or what the timeline is.

I called them before and after I sent them in and they always said that. Plus they even took it off their website as an option to request it early. Everyone has to wait the same way as everyone else.

:(

Congrats!! I absolutely can't wait to get mine in the mail too! :D

I think the FBI officially lost my request that I sent April 26th as I have not heard back yet! I'll have to send another set of prints.... rrrr....

I would call and ask what the status is, since it's been over 10 weeks. Here's the number I called: 304-625-5590

I sent my second set of prints April 15, three months ago. According to Canadian Post the FBI received them April 21. I called (again) today, they can't find them. >:(

It's been waiting 8 months waiting for the FBI clearance now only to be told, they can't find them. :'( It's very discouraging to have my life put on hold for something I feel I have no control over....

sogwap and silverbee, I am praying for you. Let's hope the police clearance is the worst part of your application, and the rest will go more smoothly for you.

I have read that their email is currently liason @ leo.gov

That one bounced back to me.

liaison @ leo.gov

So it's close, but there's an extra "i"! I've e-mailed them before. In April, they responded 24 hours after I asked the question.

Ah! I definitely did it without the extra one.

I received my FBI clearance this morning! I sent it off on May 25th so it took 54 days from start to finish. I sent it Fedex overnight and included a return Fedex Envelope inside with my info on it, billed to me and they used that envelope and sent it right on back. I also sent Three sets of fingerprints in all in the same package. It should be noted I have two government security clearances, so I have been back grounded by the FBI at least twice that I know of. So maybe that helped them send it back quickly? Dunno but I’m super excited we should be filing soon!!!

I should've gotten my husband to include a pre-paid envelope or something. I think ours was received by the FBI on the same day. He just flew home this morning so if it shows up I'll be sure to post.

It arrived!!!!

My husband works night so he wasn't able to check mail until he got home at around 2am last night. I got woken up at 230am to a text saying it showed up and said 'no record found'!! He seemed a little dissapointed that all this waiting was just for such a simple document.

Our timeline, mailed overnight May 25th, recieved by FBI May 26. Return postmarked July 19th, received July 22. :)
