Please Please help me for my Medical question

Hi All,

I have few questions regarding Work permit, there are as follow:

I have received a letter and my passport from Canadian High commission New Delhi saying that I have to go for medical examination. I have done that and Submitted my passport again to the High Commission. Last week I have completed all the formalities such as Medical.

So my question is what does this mean, is my application approved because I got this letter after 9 working days or can they ask any other things as well? because I have to make my travel plan.

Many many thanks in advance and please please advice me ASAP.


PS: I got my positive LMO last month and my employer eagerly waiting for me

Does any one knows that medical means what?

Many people said that if you received the medical means your application/ visa approved, I am in dilemma. I have done my medical 9 days ago (working days), still waiting to get visa from CHC New Delhi

appreciate anyone help and time in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kapil,

Good to hear you got medical letter from embassy.yes its positive its mean 90% done your application.
but it dosen't mean you are approved for enter canada.medical means you have good health.
the next step they will call you for result or collection of you application.
be patient it will takes time around 2 to 4 weeks.

Honestly speaking I am bit worried because my Employer is waiting for me and expecting my arrival very soon. I am hoping for the best.

Just would like to give quick updates!!!!!!!!!!!

Today Morning my Passport status changed on VFS website:

Passport has been dispatched through Courier vide Airway Bill #: on . You can also track your passport Status by visiting the website: www.bluedart.com. Incase of Hold Passport: Your Passport has been held on Request at OC Delhi OC.

My Work permit time line CHC New Delhi:

VFS Delhi Applied: 21st July
Medical letter received: 3rd August
Medical done: 4th August
Passport Submitted VFS center: 5th August
Today VFS passport Status changed: 20th August


Now I am waiting for my passport, that I will get it tomorrow. So guys please pray for me and hope for the best

My Employer is eagerly waiting for me........
