Hi,

i have a masters degree in Electrical and computer Engineering from United States in 2016 and a 2 year experience in IT. But I had to return to my home country due to personal reasons.

i want to study in Canada, what degree should I go for ?

will advance diploma get me an admit and visa to be granted ?

or masters is helpful?

please please respond.

Are you sure you dont qualify for express entry? A masters would be good going for something lower might raise questions unless you explain it convincingly.

Thanks for responding.
During my work time I enrolled in a univ for MBA which turned put to be a scam and resulting in, me getting a voluntary departure.

Im not sure how this will affect my student visa or PR.
Im very confused.

I would switch my stream anyway,

But would they let me do a masters degree again while still having one?

The voluntary departure may be an issue. Did you leave on your own when you arrived and discovered it was a scam or did you stay in the US until you got caught overstaying?

I was enrolled in the university. The department of homeland security informed us and I saw the judge and decided to voluntary depart.
