According to my Lawyer i am already through my first stage because my lawyer called up CIC 10 days ago to check about my additional documents and PCC , even he didn't ask about my application status but CIC agent suddenly told him about my first stage approval ...But as we all know CIC agent not allowed to told us about our application decision or status that's why i am not sure about it and i didn't trust much on my lawyer also ..by the way they told my lawyer to called back 1st week of the April ..i will let u know if i got any good news from my lawyer ..good luck and god bless all of us

If you were to call CIC and confirm your identity, they WOULD indeed inform you if your application has in fact passed stage 1. They can't tell you exactly where in the process you are for stage 2 but they will tell you if you have completed stage 1 or not. The usual response for stage 2 is "Everything is OK and we don't need anything from you right now. We will contact you via mail/email/phone if necessary."

If you are using a lawyer, your AIP email will have been sent to him and not you. All correspondence will be sent to your lawyer and not yourself. Good luck, Harmin.

Yes i got good new about my lawyer ...he went to Vegas with his wife for enjoying his holidays ...u know why that happen because stupid harmin paid him quite good amount up front ...

I told u already he went to Vegas with his family for a week or may be plus ..i will update u once i heard any good news from him .. its weekend ..go out with ur hubby and enjoy ur day .....better go to disco , get some drink and jump in to dance floor with ur hubby and forget all stress .... :-* :-*

But before that I called to booked an appointement for my child's medical up front in the Philippines and the lady told me to bring the letter that has the File number or the UCI number from CIC. Now my question is, which letter should my son take.

I Don't think so they required any letter from immigration because according to my opinion if u and ur dependent applying under family class then u can go for upfront medical ........I have no idea why that DOC asking for letter ...Did u try to check with other Doc's ??
BY THE WAY ACCORDING TO CIC SITE >>>>>>
There are two ways you can have an immigration medical exam, depending on your immigration category

(1) Wait for instructions once you have submitted your application
(2) Undergo your exam before you submit your application (Only for certain Family Class applicants)

And i know u and ur son r applying under family class and i am quite sure under family class u can go for upfront medical as i did and many others did in this forum too...well better try to check with more senior member also may be i am missing something here ....Good Luck And God Bless ...

Princess call the doctor and tell them that you are doing an upfront medical for family class sponsorship and all you need is that they submit the results to ambassy and provide you with the receipt with e-medicals.
