Hi,

I have certain queries regarding immigration under Federal Skilled Worker class. Please help me on these.

1) Do I need to take the IELTS test before I file my application (I dont think they need test score at the first stage but they have a question in IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3 (question 6)).

2)The $550 fees, which I need to pay, where can I deposit it in Delhi.

3) Are parents and siblings not considered as family member for the purposes of form IMM 0008 General.

4) what proofs are required for experience gained in family business which is in the name of parents?

5) Do we have to paste a photo on the form IMM 0008 General in the first stage of application?

6) Is a post graduate diploma in management (which is equivalent to an MBA) taken as a masters degree or a non-university certificate/diploma?

Thanks,
Deepak

No, but you should take it fairly soon, as if you get your 120 day letter you won't have much time, CIC recommends that you take it before submission to Sydney.

You need either to get a Demand Draft in Canadian funds or by Credit Card.

No.

You are going to need an employment letter that outlines your duties, salary, how long you have been there.

5) Do we have to paste a photo on the form IMM 0008 General in the first stage of application?

NO.

6) Is a post graduate diploma in management (which is equivalent to an MBA) taken as a masters degree or a non-university certificate/diploma?

No.

Thanks,
Deepak

Just to clarify with the IELTS, the reason they recommend that you take it before you submit to Sydney is because you can calculate your points exactly. There are so many cases where people over-estimate their English knowledge, apply and then find out when they take their IELTS that they can't get enough points, end up with under 67 total and lose their applications because they don't have time anymore to prepare better and take IELTS again. If you take IELTS before you apply, at least you know right away if you do badly and you have all the time in the world to prepare and take it again until you get enough points to apply.
