Hi everybody,
Please let me know this is a something wrong if my wife 15 year older then me and she Canadian and Christan and i am hindu?

coz ppls saying they will refused my spouse visa coz. we have compatibility issue.......... but for more information i want to say we did marriage after 2 year daily online Relationship and i still have all emails and Phone bills and gifts we send each other and we really love each other.

Our marriage is register in court we have marriage pics and completed all legal things as have to do for Hindu marriage act.

so i just want to know that my case is weak just coz things r not looks so common? even we are so happy and truley love each other?

Guys pls let me know or give me some suggestions or advise or if anybody have similar case as mine......

I do not think that your age differnce will be a problem as long as you provide enough proof about your relationship. However, if you are issued an interview, you may be asked questions such as why did you choose to marry this woman, how did you meet, how long have you known each other, etc. questions to prove that your relationship is genuine.

When you guys filled out the application, did you provide enough proof of your relationship, such as pictures, marriage certificate, emails, phone bills, gift receipts, flight tickets, etc. The more information and proof you provide in the application, the better.

yup it's what i was saying as i know our relationship is genuine.
but it's true that it's all Depend on Immigration officer Mood he grant u visa or not even u gave them all proof about marriage and relationship and answers honestly in interview?

I agree - age difference here is more and more acceptable. CIC has to have major major reason to think that your relationship is not genuine in order to refuse an application based on that criteria.
Don't worry at all. If they ever question it - be to the point - age doesn't matter to either of you and you're in love. period.
With everything you've kept as proof of relationship - you're going to be just fine.

I suspect you will be called for an interview, especially if your wife has been married before or has any children. It's not necessary that you will be called, but unless you manage to answer all their doubts in the application, it will probably happen.

Yes, age difference is becoming more and more acceptable. But it's far more acceptable when the man is the older one, not the woman. An older man can still have children, an woman in her fifties can not. So there's more questions to the younger man, like why would you marry a woman who can't give you children?

You also have to take into account that they judge the relationship based on the cultural norms of the society the applicant is in. While in Canada, such a marriage might not be too unusual and mostly accepted, in India I hear it's a different story. At least from the cases I've seen. Men were often questioned because they married divorced women or older women. I guess you're expected to not want such a woman.

When putting together the application, you should address the concerns the IO might have when reviewing your application. Don't pretend as though the age difference doesn't matter, because it does. Maybe not to you, but to CIC it does, so you should address it in your application. Both you and your wife should explain why you were attracted to someone so much younger/older, what your plans for the future are, how your families feel about your relationship, how you've dealt with the difference in religion, .... The emails, the phone bills, photos, marriage will not be enough.
If you've already mailed the application, then I guess those are things you should prepare for in a possible interview. If not, be sure to include them in the application. Good luck!

Yeah i think so that they will call me for interview.
But i want say that my wife and mine previous marriage record is none we both never married and we both don't have kids.

i hayed a lower coz i really don't have idea about this all paper work plus they already refused my TRV for Christmas and new year celebration as i want to do celebrate with my wife and in low family there is they said 2 points
1 Tie issue coz wife is there and Parents is here.
2 travel history.

this month i am going summit my spouse visa file so before i do summit can u give me some advise Friends?
clearing again that my wife is 14 year younger then me and 4 inch taller then me and we met online 2 years ago and we r so much in love then she propose me and visit here for marriage to me.
we have pics we have marriage certificate and honeymoon hotel bills. but the only things in my mind that we met 1st time as a person when she visit me for marriage. (and reson is coz 2 year daily talk on emails and skype made us so easy about each other and we never thought that face to face meeting can change our design coz we love each other soul wise not just for physically )

so here is all detail so pls advise me and help me i am really worried coz as i am hearing that in this kind of case after appeal u can't do anything then divorce is it true guys?

Rocky636 , you made me confuse, in your first post you said your wife is OLDER than you by 14 years...in your last post you said that you are older than her...which one is true, because sadely it make a difference even in a very civilized country like Canada. if you are older, it is ok but sheis older than you, it might raise a flag.
Hope you have lot of proof for your geniune relation because you have some kind of difference: religion, age, culture,family ...so send all the proof you have.

unfortunately if a man is younger it's already a flag, and another flag is different religious factor. if you manage to proof that your relationship is really genuine, you will have a visa granted, but they will call you or maybe even both for interview - that almost certain.

My wife is older than me and we didn't get interviewed. I think the main concern is how much older. If the man is 20 and the woman is 50 I'd bet a few dollars on an interview!

Anybody can tell me what kind of ad most fare during interview? like if there is single officer asking or many officer siting and like fireing with Q.? they r rude or behave normal? they will give me time to keep my answer or explain it?

It's usually just one IO that is present and asking the question. And I've heard stories of nice IOs and not so nice IOs, so it depends on your luck.
