Hello....
I need urgent advice and your kind guide here. Recently applied for student permit for September in take, in my application, I applied as married without marriage supporting documents because we were yet to finalized the marriage arrangement, hoping to do court wedding then forward the document to the visa office. To my greatest surprise, the lady called off our relationship without reason, I am confused here, what should I do? do I report to the visa office?
I also wanted to submit a return affidavit to the visa office, do you think it is advisable at this point, what effect will this have on application???
Please, I need your kind advice...

Thanks in anticipation.
Nke.

How can you state married in your application form while you are still single?

By stating you were married when you weren't, you committed misrepresentation, which is a very big deal. It could result not only in a refusal but also a ban from Canada. It was a stupid thing to do. You should have been honest and said you were single and then applied for your spouse after getting married.

You need to tell CIC before they find out for themselves.
