I am in a weird situation here.
I applied for my newborn's TRV a couple of months back and they rejected it saying that he needs to apply for Canadian passport as one of the parent in Canadian.
- My status: applied for citizenship in Jan 2022, given test in Oct 2022, no update after that, HAVEN'T taken OATH. Scarborough office
- My partner's spousal sponsorship is still ongoing and we added my son as a dependent in it as well
I applied again for my son's TRV via lawyer with additional details, his PR application details etc as well. They rejected again with the same reason. None of us is Canadian citizen.
What shall I do? am I missing something here? According to my knowledge one can't be a citizen without oath ceremony.
