Dear friends:

I try to use simple word(avoiding words like supervise, manage, control, direct, etc.) to describe what I exactly did in my job, so that you can make an accurate judgement.

I am in a telecommunication company. It provides customized mobile phone. My duty is to monitor and push all the projects. The typical stages of a project include design, R&D, manufacture of one type of mobile phone.

Each project needs several teams from different functional departments. Each team is only responsible for certain stage of the project. The director of the department administers his team.

My job:
1. I make procedure and policies to promote the cooperation between those teams so that all the projects can be carried out smoothly. For example, I designed a form to trace the project status (project target, plan, current status, problem, risk). I ask each team to report by filling the form.


2. I organize weekly meeting so that all the team leaders can meet to discuss problems. I coordinate them to solve problems, direct the follow-on actions.

3.Every month, I make evaluation for each team according to the project progress. The evaluation result is one part of integrated evaluation of the team and their department.

4. I make budget report for all the projects. The approval of each actual expense is decided by General Manager.

What puzzled me are:
-I do not administer the member of each team, including technical team, because I am not the director of them.
-Also I only monitor the work result of each team.

What duties can you figure out from my description?
Do I meet all the duties of plan, organize, direct, control, evaluate defined by 0213?

All in all, am I eligible for 0213?

2. our company is providing mobile phones, including design, development, manufacture. I am monitoring the mobile phone projects mainly in the development part.
