Hi guys, can my vacation leave of 5 and a half months in canada be included in my work experience.

for example: I was working starting january 2012 to december 2015 in the philippines but i went to canada as a tourist from july 2012 to december 2012 (5 and a half months stay in canada).

My questions is: Can I indicate in my EE and COE that my work is still continuous including the canada stay? my company allowed me to extend my stay in canada for 5 and a half months and I am still registered in the company as an employee and they still paid my monthly social security contribution during my stay in canada. So does that mean I was still employed while on vacation for a long time?

Please help me since I don't want to have problems in my EE application. Your help would be appreciated.

No - it cannot be included. You were not working during this time and were not being paid a salary.
