For CEC the one year experience does not have to be at one employer. Even part-time and full-time employment from different companies can be combined.

However, OP's work experience is really not regular. I believe self-employment (contractor work) would not count. On top of that that American ageny is really a confusing factor. I would ask for the advice of an experienced lawyer or VIP members.

I wasn't aware at first if that was his only work, so 8 months total wouldn't have been enough.
