Would it be a problem if we send additional docs to CIC by email or mail 2 or 3 times after the initial application is submitted?
The reason why I am asking is I initially sent some docs by email and got a response within a week.
Later, I sent the PCC by mail and requested CIC to confirm by email whether they have been delivered but never got a response even after 3 reminders. Now, I want to send an email with the reference letter from my supervisor.

Please advise if this is ok.

Hi yahoo7: CIC usually never acknowledges upon received any Document VIA mail or courier. However, they may reply on email correspondences or may not always. This is my personal experience with CIC for last few years....Hope you have some consolation now.

Yahoo7, if it will give you peace of mind, email them this new item. I understand that it is one you have not sent before? Or an updated version? The only recommendation is to not send the same document/request multiple times.

It is not the same document but the reference letter from my supervisor. Earlier, I sent a letter which the HR gave me but it does not have the details about the duties I peform.

Yahoo7, You are not alone. I am having same experience with CIC. I emailed my tax documents and new passport info about couple of weeks back, no acknowledgment yet. Same when I mailed my PCC's, although its been only 5 days since they received it but not expecting their response any sooner.

Oh for sure, send it in. That's an important item.
