I'm Indian, but a resident of the UAE and I just did my medicals on June 13. Thus, my next stage would be the Passport Request from CIC London.

But I am planning to resign from my job and move back to India for a while to do a short Yoga course. Of course, I will have to inform the visa office and my immigration representative. But if I resign, will my application be transferred from CIC London to CIC New Delhi? Will there be any problems? Would it be wise to resign now, or should I wait?

Hoping to get some insight from other people.

If u r moving to india inform CHC about ur new mailing address. It is better if u resign after this process is over. Yoga can be done here also. Just buy a CD OF SWAMI RAMDEV and do those asanas early morning. File transfer I think they will not appreciate or u should state something like u lost ur job due to recession and company is cancelling ur visa.

Thanks Shibuya.

Looks like you're in the same boat as me: medicals sent in June, 2010!

Good luck, hope you get your PPR soon!

If u go back to India, how'll u send your pps to London?

It's not a good idea at this stage. U r almost there. Hang on...
