Hi All, as the title suggests I am planning to apply for express entry (BCPNP IPG). Since I don't have any experience other than my co-ops, I am planning to take the FSW path using BC PNP to my advantage. I am in the final term of my internships (details below):

1. 6 Sept 2021 - 17 Dec 2021 (Information Security Analyst Intern at an MNC in Canada)
2. 17 Dec 2021 - 31 Jan 2022 (Cyber Security Analyst Intern at a startup based out of my home country)
3. 15 Jan 2022 - 6 Sept 2022 (as my job offer states) (Intern Analyst at an MNC in Canada)

All these experiences were paid and in accordance with the IRCC Express Entry rules mentioned for student work experience under https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=394&top=29.

Just wondering if the experience gained as a student pursuing education in Canada while working as an intern in an overseas startup valid in my case?

Have you determined what the NOCs are for the work experience you have? To qualify to set up an EE profile, you must have one year of full time (or equivalent) work experience that is continuous and also in the same NOC.

For the start up work experience, I assume you were paid a full salary?

Hey thanks for replying! Yes- the duties and responsibilities for all my internships align with NOC 2171 (As a security analyst). Also, for the work experience at the startup, I was indeed paid a salary for my entire term.
