Seniors,

I am a March 2014, applicant. I got my COPR and PR stamped yesterday.

I noticed that last character in my place of of birth is missing in COPR.

Ex. Place of birth : P***********I.
Printed in COPR : P***********. The last character is missing.

I have send email to CIC to confirm that should I go for landing procedure with this / should I correct it before landing?

Waiting for reply from CIC.

Any thoughts from you guys? Seniors pls advise me. Thanks.

DO NOT amend any of the information on the COPR. Point it out to the CBSA or CIC officer when you land. They will amend it and sign and initial it to confirm the change.

If you can take or get an appointment for Landing within Canada , You can amend your COPR at the time of appointment .
Rest its just a clerical error , no big deal as "redgdon" said CBSA can make a note of it but I guess to amend COPR you need to send amend application .

I would just add, that amendment process takes at least 6 months when landing is done at any point of entry. On the other hand, landing in a local CIC office makes amendment immediately which is a big advantage.
