if married yung gf nya then that's gonna be a problem, if not, its ok to sponsor the "GF" after they get married but he should legally adopt the daughter first before filing a sponsorship for her...

I'm new to this forum and I find the site very helpful

My husband and I are just starting to work on our sponsorship applications so we have a lot of questions about the process. I hope you guys can help us.

I'm wondering in order to prove that our relationship is genuine, do i need to send all original documents like letters, cards, etc or can I just send them xerox copies of those? If I send the original ones, do they return it back once the visa is granted? Some stuff are important to me so I'm hesitant to send them away but they are necessary proofs as well.

I hope someone answers. Thanks

They need all the original one's, and yes, once your visa has been issued, everything you gave them will be sent back to you along with your passport...

Nagbibigay po ba ng special attention ang mga consul kpag buntis ang asawa? ksi ang case namin is 2months preggy wife ko nasa canada, and hinahabol namin yung sponsorship bgo sya manganak ksi talgang wala syang kasama doon walang magaalaga sa kanya, pero nagbigay naman kmi ng letter ksama ng application stating my wife's situation, ang hirap tlaga!!! alam ko naman na hindi ntutulog ang Diyos. So i keep my fingers cross.

@ mamipapi: Since when you started ur application po? Let's all hope for the best para makasama na natin ang mga partners natin haha ;D Waiting really sucks big time.. I just wonder why my mga applicants super tagal ng process while ung iba sobrang ikli lyk 3 months or so.. hay..

hello magandang araw po,, pede po ba mag tanong kung anong website un pedeng i check and status ng application, kasi po sabi e na check daw ang status ng file number through online. but i dont know which website, i tried browing s net pero hindi ko talga makita. salamat po ..

september po na-approve sponsorship application skin ng mister ko.
By this time, naipadala ko na po lahat ng documents sa Mississauga.
Just last Nov.9, 2009 nmn po eh nagpadala sakin and manila embassy ng sulat to send documents na pareho lng ng ipinadala ko sa asawa ko for the immigration lawyer, like CENOMAR, marriage certificate, birth cert ko , history ko po for the last 10 (? )years . and my passport. I was able to send all of these last Dec.2, 2010.

SO until now po wala pa rin feedback from the embassy. I had read "Twix"s timeline..halos pareho lang kmi pero receive na nya visa nya last february...

haaay...sana matapos na lahat ng paghihintay natin...

depende...case to case basis yata yung mga natatagalan ng passport...yung nasa kabilang forum feb 10 niya pinadala CIC-MAnila, march 5 dumating n passport with VISA...at depende sa CIC office siguro...ask mu na lang sa CIC kung saan mu ipapadala...para mas sigurado...wala ba doon sa letter yung sa letter heading niya yung contact nos. nila?

Sa Pretoria, South Africa yung CIC ko kasi nasa Angola ako ngayon. Wala akong natanggap na letter from CIC eh, phone call lang. Siguro dahil bulok ang post office dito at mahal naman magpaDHL. Binigay din naman nila yung address nung tumawag sila sa akin at nasa website yung telephone number at email nila. Sinubukan ko magemail sa CIC tungkol sa address, may sumagot naman. Sabi sa DHL website na receive na daw nila passport ko.

Sana within this week tumawag na ulit sila. Ang hirap ng walang passport dito, nakakakaba.

PS: Kakacheck ko lang sa website... DECISION MADE na raw at kocontactkin daw ako.... sana tumawag na sila..... kakastress ang suspense!! :-[
