help naman po...

tapos na po kami sa medical 2 weeks ago pa pero hindi pa din napapadala ng DMP yung medical results sa trinidad and tobago dahil ayaw i-ship ng courier pag walang contact name and number na tatanggap. Sabi ng DMP kami daw ang magprovide ng contact name and number ng regional medical office (RMO) trinidad and tobago, pero ayaw ibigay samin ng canadian embassy dito sa manila. Kasi daw bawal ang applicants magkaroon ng access sa mga RMOs. Yun ang sinabi ko sa DMP pero parang ayaw naman nya makinig basta lagi nya lang sinasabi na kailangan namin yun i-provide. Kahit sa website ng CIC walang pangalan na nakalagay.

hi tanong ko lang kung meron na nakapag-pasa sa inyo na walang details yung likod ng pictures (visa pictures) wala kasi yung samin nalimutan lagyan eh.. pero decision made na kame after a month waiting nalang for approval ng asawa ko, by a week daw dadating na yun... any reply will be appreciated thank youuuuuu!!!! ;D

Hi dorisiana...I think the instruction is to write your name and birthday at the back of the photos. Yung DM mo ba sa sponsorship? So possible na naforward na dito sa CEM yung apps mo. If they will request you to sign the photos at the back baka ibalik yun sayo when they ask for your PP. Goodluck!!!

Question lang po regarding CFO/PDOS thing...I just received my visa in manila and I am currently here in UAE. Do I need to attend to this CFO/PDOS thing even I am already here in UAE? Can I just go directly from here or do I need to go back to manila and fly from there?

NA COMPLY KO NA PO LAHAT NG REQUIREMENTS FROM NBI TO MEDICAL JUST LAST JUNE 2010 LANG PO at lahat po yon is valid for 1 year. so now its expired na kailangan ko po bang kumuha ulit? or mag wait po muna ako sa kung ano ang decision po? usually po ba ano po dapat? plano ko kasi kumuha na lang at para kung sakali e request e agad nandiyan na. kakapagod na po mag hintay. buti po yong iba ang dali dali.. at siya nga pala ang original passport ko nasa akin pa. kailanga ko bang mag hintay na sila mismo mag request ng passport or pwedeng ako na lang mispo magpadala?

Bakit ilan po ba ang passport nyo at may naissue na visa sa manila? Nasa UAE kayo, natural dala nyo ang passport nyo. Pwede kayo dumeretso canada kung mapatatakan nyo ng visa ang passport nyo sa CIC-abu dhabi. Kaso manila ang file nyo. Pwede kung mag-uusap ang dlawang embassy. Pero kung may passport kayo sa CEM at may isa pa kayong dala e mukang me malaking problema kayo sa DFA.

Yung PDOS po ay para sa departure from philippines. Kung nasa labas na kayo di na kailangan dahil Pre-Departure Orientation po yan. Pero kung uuwi kayo at sa manila kayo mageexit e hahanapin yan ng immigration sa airport.

Hi everyone!

This isn't immigration related but I need some Pinoy help!
My partner and I of course will have to be split up for several months when I return to Canada.
She has no job, and I will do what I can to help her out financially. And when she does get a job as we all know wages are quite low in The Philippines, especially in Boracay where we are from, where her living expenses are high and the wages are 200 to 250 per day depending on the job.

We have no problem supporting her, but her family constantly needs money from her. It seems every week there is another emergency. For the past year I have been supporting her while she sends 90% of what she earns to her family in Pangasinan.

There's an old proverb I believe in. Give a man a fish, feed him for a day, give a man a fishing pole feed him for life.

So I've been trying to find out how to get her family involved in microfinance loans where they can borrow just a few thousand pesos at a time and learn how to help themselves to take the burden off of her.

Does anyone know how to apply to these microfinance places? I looked online and got some emails but none have responded, I thought maybe someone here would know.

It's a very good proverb ... but easier said than done! One has to be interested in "fishing poles", and "fish" should abound to make this work. If they had not done anything in the past to make for a living, I do not see how you can make them move at any future time. Chances are, you will be in for more troubles -finacially and emotionally! I can only guess that you are not a filipino. It takes to be one to understand the realities of life here.

Credit facilities here are not that easy to obtain. If you have collaterals, then maybe you would not even need those "microfinance institutions" to start a small business for a "few thousand pesos". Anyway, have you tried the website of TESDA? Or you can search banks on the loan facilities they offer. But all these entail complex documentation. You have to register a business first, submit feasibility studies, pre-operating financial statements, etc. With the cost of advance rental and basic implements alone, you will run to a hundred thousand pesos.

You have chosen to be married to a family.... I can only wish you luck. Love really conquers all!!! good day
