RPN is also LPN, LVN.. not sure anung meaning ng CNA sa US hehe.. yah mas maganda if nga start na mag process kasi lalo na pag may kelangna mga docs sa pilipinas wala ng mag aasikaso mas hassle pa kasi kelangan ng authirazation letter etc...

pa join din, nurse din ako here in the phil.. I took ielts 2009 pa, expired na cia last year so i have to take it again since kelangan daw sabi ni hubby. Im bound to winnipeg, may idea kayo kung ilan ang band score na passing dun?

oh ok yan sis sna kahit ganyan muna ako, ill ask hubby to ask around heheh, do we need english exam para mag pa assess? pwd ba sabay i pa assess if ever? sounds interesting sis. saskatoon ka ba? bka jan lang applicable yan , sige il ask hubby heheh thanks sis ha.
CNA is certified nsg assistant , parang from RN meron syang LPN,LVN at CNA.

dito ako sa toronto ontario... dito kasi di kelangan ng passes ka ng english proficiency para maka exam pero its an advantage kung passer na para just in case makapasa sa RN wala ng problema!!

nakita ko sa timeline mo, FSW? Federeal Skilled Worker? bilis pala ng processing mo...parang 8 months lang? bilis noh??? akala ko ang spousal ang pinakamabilis, pero hanggang ngayon, wala pa din...ay nako. kumuha ako ng ielts...pero di ko alam if okay yung score ko. hay nako...nakakatawa yung exam ko talaga...bahala na si batman...feeling ko, merong exam na di ko reach ang required score. hay nako!! hehehe.

Papano yun, law grad ako, equivalent naman yun ng masteral...hehehe, pwede walang ielts??? hahaha (in my dreams???) hehehe. if di pumasa, kuha ng kuha hanggang pumasa..buti pa sa US, ang bilis lang maging nurse doon....pero hirap naman pumasok...teka, saan ba mas maganda mag nurse?? US or Canada? hehehe.

No sis what i meant is dika na mag undergo ng assessment ng carna if u have masteral, i heard u can just sit for the crne, unlime pag wla masteral gaya ko of course i have to comply sa rqmnts ng carna as IEN i need to pass the ielts before the assess my papers...kawindang no?! Sabi ko kay hubby awa ng Diyos sna makalipat nlng kmi sa US kc rn nako pagdating ko don,sa alberta andami ko pa daanan hahaha kako ako nlng magpa nclex sa kanya don, di kc rn hubby ko sa alberta, he works double time kaya prang rn na din sahod pro naaawa nako sis sa kanya kaya sna makasama na natin mga asawa naten at habang andito pa tayo this wil probably the biggest help we can do - pass the test NOW, no retake! LMAO

With the recession going on in US maybe canada is much better. I have petition in US they paid for my nclex and my visascreen and all, such a good employer actually but fortunately nahanap ko si hubby kaya wrong way na ako hahaha. Also mass mababa ang ielts rqmnts nila don compared sa tinatahak naten! Kayanin natin sis... Apir! Hahaha

hahaha. ako din sis. 2000, grad ako 1st course. 2005 grad ako 2nd course. 2010 grad ako nursing. nang pumasa ako, nag IVT ako ako. pag katapos ng IVT, nag review nclex. kasi gusto ko talaga mag nurse sa US. then nag asawa ako, na taga canada din...so, nag bayad lang ako sa US for eligibility, 150 dollars ata yun, hanggang june 2012 pa ang deadline ng dapat ipa register ko...di ko tinapos ang nclex rvw kasi nag asawa muna ako, then since parang canada na destination ko....nag decide ako mag ielts muna...after ielts, wait ko ang visa ko. ewan sis, parang gusto ko pa rin kumuha ng nclex talaga. ewan sis, parang gusto ko talaga ang US eh. hehehehe. watyathink?hehe

Hello! Am a nurse myself working on getting my license here in Canada and same time sponsoring my hubby from Philippines. Allnurses.com re:international nursing is a must check-out to get some ideas on how to apply for canadian nursing licensure. Also, every province has it's own licensing body kaya dapat check it out too. SRNA (Saskatchewan) and CARNA (Alberta) just to name a few. There's a lot of infos frome their websites that we IENs (internationally educated nurses) can use. Assessment for IENs takes a long time, i meant a loooonnng time, kaya even if you guys are still in Philippines or wherever, start getting your papers assessed na. Then waiting time won't be too long once landed in Canada. English exams: you can do IELTS or CELBAN ( there are other options too, just can't remember all of it). Although CELBAN is only offered in Canada, however it's far easier than IELTS in my opinion and it relates to our profession (nurse).Hope it helps.

Alberta din po ako!
Im afraid to take IELTS na ngyon na nalaman ko mas madali pala ang CELBAN. Pero im reviewing na kaya go nalang ako, sana makaabot sa score. Pagnakaabot eh ill pass my requirements na rin like you will do... kaya update me sis ha kung paano!

Hi sis sa wakas nakahanap ako kaprovince ko! Yes ielts rqmnts for carna is high but we have no choice but to take it while we are still here i mean who knows if we made it then we could start the procesing so once we get there less time nlang anayin natin, if we dont make it here then we can stilt take the celban there... I just Think if others can why cant i? Lol thats not me im very nega hahaha. Anyway ielts is unlimited u just need to borrow money for the test fee hehe. Anyway do u know any website for free ielts review, practice practice practice esp our listening Lol!
