Hello everyone,

Just a little help needed to figure this out!

For example,

I became a temporary worker at 2017-09-20 and my student visa ended at 2017-08-31 (So I applied for work permit before my graduation but it was issued on 09-20)
During the period from 08-31 to 09-20, should I indicate this as a student or a tempory worker?

You would list this as a temporary worker, as your student visa expired on 8/31 and you were on implied status. The calculator does not give you an option to list implied status, but you can write a letter explaining the reasoning behind this “gap”.
