physical presence calculator & police Clearance certificate

A) I'm filling my Physical Presence Calculator , I get the message as below -
"Please list all your absences outside Canada between 2012-10-24 and 2017-10-24 and select 'Add Absence'. Select 'Calculate' when you have finished listing all absences.".
But I got my PR only on 2013-11-15.

So , I'm thinking to do the following -
1. 2012-10-24 to 2012-12 -31 -> Didn't have a visa or status to stay in Canada
2. 2013-01-01 to 2013 -11- 14 -> Didn't have a visa or status to stay in Canada.
Please let me know if this is fine ?.


B) Also do I have to give a police certificate from 2012-10-24 to 2017-10-24 ?? or only for the last 4 years. i.e; from 2013-10-24 to 2017-10-24 ? where you spent more than 183 days.

1) List the absences for the periods that you were living in Canada with any status (Temporary or Permanent). If you never came to Canada before 2013-11-15 then you only need to list your absences starting that date.

2) You need to give a police certificate for any Country where you have spent more than 183 days (accumulative) in the last 4 years. From 2013-10-24 to 2017-10-24 if you sign your application today.
